How does a move4WATER campaign work?
After the campaign comes the highlight: we will share the donation results with you. To help you report on your impact, we will provide you with communication materials.
Where are the donations used?
With the Future Yumbe Project, Viva con Agua is committed to a sustainable and climate-resilient water supply in the Yumbe District in northern Uganda. Our goal: to reach 300,000 people with safe water in the long term. To achieve this, we are collecting 2.65 million euros. The donations go towards setting up and strengthening a sustainable water supply system – from infrastructure to local cooperation.
Your donation enables, among other things:
the construction of new wells and the repair of existing water systems
a reliable water supply even during dry periods
regular monitoring of water quality
the training and strengthening of local water committees
collaboration with communities and local authorities
This creates more than just a single water point: a functioning, long-term sustainable system for water, hygiene, and a self-determined life. All in for Water.

EDUCATIONAL MODULES
Water accompanies us everywhere in everyday life and connects many topics with each other.
That is why we have developed different materials: Children and young people will find small mini-learning games here for self-exploration; teachers will find methods and material for their lessons, and of course our Alpagua must not be missed either.
Your questions – our answers
How much of my donation goes to the projects?
Your contribution goes where it is most needed: in our projects for clean drinking water worldwide. In 2024, around 71% of all funds flowed directly into project work – that is, into water, sanitation, and hygiene measures as well as the necessary education for them. The remaining funds are specifically invested in education, campaigns, and efficient organization so that your impact works in the long term.
You can find more details in our annual report 📖.
