A single WhatsApp message – sometimes that's all it took to get big things rolling. What started as a simple idea has developed into a project filled with positive energy and a sense of community. We are excited to share this inspiring story with you!
The Idea: Real Movement by Real People
Six dedicated people are setting off on a journey together: Brix Schaumburg, Benjamin Reis, Yalun Meng, Daniel Schulze Waltrup, Leon Kaufmann-Ludwig, and Patrick Schnitzler. Their mission? They are riding 557 kilometers together across Germany – from Frankfurt to Hamburg. Their destination is the OMR Festival.
But for once, this tour isn’t about business metrics, reach, or KPIs. It’s about real, tangible movement. It’s about real stories of real people coming together to make a difference.
How True Attention is Created
Particularly in the context of the OMR, this whole endeavor takes on an additional, deeper level. While the big stages often discuss how to generate attention, this project shows how it happens quite naturally: people join in, companies offer their support, valuable partnerships are formed, and the community grows.
Voices from the Saddle
The motivation of the participants shows just how much positive activism is embedded in this project:
Benjamin Reis: “For me, the ‘online Marketing Radtour’ is more than just a project. It stands for what I believe in: inspiring other people through ideas.”
Brix Schaumburg: “What appeals to me about this is not just the athletic challenge. It’s the combination of a personal limit and real impact. Doing something that feels outside of the comfort zone and at the same time moving something that is bigger than oneself.”
ALL IN FOR WATER: Every Kilometer Counts
The group has decided to combine their ride with a fundraising campaign for Viva con Agua. Each person in the team is donating €1 per kilometer ridden and invites the community to participate in the donations. This campaign is part of something much bigger. It embodies exactly what Viva con Agua stands for: a community that doesn't just watch, but takes action. We create inspiring platforms and opportunities for collective engagement, because when clean water flows, the lives of entire communities change. We build networks for clean drinking water – We build communities for water.
People always feel most strongly connected to an idea when they start making their own stories out of it. It all begins with the people who set out for our vision: ALL IN FOR WATER.
THANK YOU!
A huge thank you goes to Benjamin Reis, Yalun Meng, Daniel Schulze Waltrup, Leon Kaufmann-Ludwig, Patrick Schnitzler, and Brix Schaumburg. Thank you for your incredible energy, your commitment, and for impressively showing what can happen when people set off together.

Wasser ist nie nur Wasser – Eine Reise, die den Blick verändert
Was bedeutet Wasser wirklich?

Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026
This week we are celebrating Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 – one of the most important days of the year for our global project work. Why? Because for millions of people worldwide, menstruation is still associated with shame, exclusion, a lack of access to hygiene products, and educational inequality. Because periods must not be an obstacle to education, health, or self-determination. And because we can only create a period-friendly world together.
